Last weekend was the opening weekend for college tournament play around the country with a number of CO Rush alumni lacing up for their respective schools. Below are the weekends results along with some other recognitions from the past week.

BYU – Sabrina Macias – Win 2-0 over UNLV. Next vs. Oklahoma
CO School of Mines – Dani DeHart, Jackie Chiastra, Shannon Mooney – Tie vs Dallas Baptist. Advance on Shootout. Next vs Texas A&M Commerce
Colorado – Danica Evans, Morgan Stanton – Win 3-1 over Oklahoma State, next vs #1 South Carolina. Evans Scored the games final goal with 12 seconds remaining to clinch the win and caused an own goal on flip throw to start the game.
Denver – AJ Fuller, Jared Cochran, Sam Hamilton, Will Palmquist – Opening Round bye. Play UNLV/San Diego State.
Duke – Lizzy Raben – Win 3-0 over Charlotte. Next vs Illinois State. Raben played 78 minutes helping Duke maintain the shutout.
Florida Gulf Coast – Miguel Jaime – Opening round Thursday vs South Florida
Fort Hays State – Savannah McClease, Taryn Schnell – W 3-1 vs Harding, T 2-2 vs MSU-Mankato, advance in shootout. Next vs Central Missouri.
Indiana – Will Eslinger – Opening Round bye. Play Nov.20 vs Akron/Villanova.
John Brown – Jastin Redman, Aspen Robinson. First Round game Nov 19 vs Cumberland.
Minnesota – Tori Burnett – Tied NC State 0-0 and lost in shootout. Burnett played all 110 minutes
Minot State – Erin Rafferty, Ryann Rafferty – Lost 3-1 to Central Oklahoma
New Mexico – Noah Bushey – Opening round Thursday vs Portland.
Pepperdine – Rachael Collins – Tie California 1-1, advance is shootout. Play NC State in second round.
Regis – Cameron McCaslin, Noah Chapleski – Lost 1-0 to St. Edward’s.
SMU – Emily Cope – Lost 1-0 to Oklahoma
