Colorado Rush’s U7 Dolphins, coached by Alicia Archuleta, won the Stenger Invitational over Memorial Day Weekend.
The team, participating in its first tournament, played with passion, teamwork, and creativity, putting away 36 goals in four games. The girls also played with throw-ins for the first time and got used to not having a coach on the field with them.
Coach Archuleta, who is a Colorado Rush alumna herself and coaches next year’s U12 Nero girls team, is excited for what these talented young players have in their future.
